Requirements
The Army Band Program is open to talented musicians, male or female, who are otherwise qualified to enlist in the Army and can pass a prearranged audition.

Auditions
The first step to joining the Army Band Program is the audition. When and where this takes place will be worked out with your Recruiter, the auditioner and you.

Conductors
The Army Band Program also offers a limited number of openings for conductors. As a conductor, you will enter the Army Band as an Officer.

Musicians have been an integral part of the military even before the U.S. Army was created in 1775.
