The USAMU Shotgun, Running Target, International Rifle and International Pistol Teams provide shooting clinics to numerous civilian shooters across the country, including celebrities such as country music legend Barbara Mandrell and NFL football great Larry Csonka. The USAMU Soldier-athletes also teach JROTC, ROTC, Boy Scouts and other Junior Shooting Club members not just how to shoot, but shooting safety as well.

The USAMU Service Rifle Team, Service Pistol Team and Action Shooting Team provide Train the Trainer Courses for Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and unit marksmanship trainers. They have provided instruction for drill sergeants, rangers, snipers, Special Forces, Navy SEALs and units deploying both here and in the combat zones.
